3 hour workshop :

• Students will be together with Miss Kristen and Miss Jen and they will create 2 unique art projects: 1. a photo frame collaged and decorated with pictures and embellished with items of their choice. 2.Unique Valentine's Day greeting cards. Don't be fooled boys! Your projects don't have to be "cute" and "pretty". You can theme your projects. For example, what if your photo frame was inspired by the Mad Hatter? What would that look like? What if your Valentine's cards were created only using Black and White and no color? The possibilites are endless!

• At the end of the workshop, we will have a "tea party", complete with snack and hot chocolate. We will also have costume props based around the characters from Alice in Wonderland, such as top hats (The Mad Hatter), bunny ears (The White Rabbit), cat ears (The Cheshire Cat), and more. Each child will choose which character they would like to represent, and dress up as. Boys and girls, if you have a costume prop you'd like to wear during the tea party, please bring it. We will also screen Disney's, Alice in Wonderland during the "tea party".

• Each student will leave with a goody bag.

• A maximum of 20 kids will be accepted for enrollment for this one day, event.

A Note To Parents:

• Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the event to sign your kids in. We will begin promptly at 2pm to ensure the entire length of the workshop is utilized to the maximum length. Please arrive at the end of the workshop by 5pm to sign your children out.

• Please dress your children in clothes that are appropriate for art classes as they may get messy during the time of the workshop.

Location for the event is conveniently located on Elkton Rd. in Newark, not far from I-95, Kirkwood Hwy, and 896. The building is an office complex. Please pull in to the parking lot, located on the right side. You will see a door with a sign on it for Victorian Valentine.
